As a Social Media Specialist for Whitworth University, I manage the daily operations of six major platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok. I am responsible for all scheduling and posting across these channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence that reflects the university's mission and voice.
In addition to platform management, I produce professional photography and videography for university-sanctioned events and official social media series, capturing the vibrancy of campus life and key institutional moments. My visual content helps drive engagement and storytelling across platforms.
I work collaboratively on a dynamic team of four, where we strategize and develop content by gathering stories from across the Whitworth community. Together, we craft compelling copy and visual assets that spotlight student achievements, faculty expertise, campus culture, and alumni stories.
This role has sharpened my skills in cross-platform content strategy, digital storytelling, and creative collaboration within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
